On the occasion of the 6th edition of the NewImages Festival, the Parisian fair which brings together all the players in digital creation, Quentin Auger and Jean-François Ramos hosted a conference dedicated to generative AIs and their impact in animation and special effects.
Entitled ” Generative AIs (GenAI), inevitable future of CGI, animation & VFX?“, the conference drew up an inventory of existing generative AIs (GenAI) (MidJourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT, Gen -1, ElevenLabs!…) which are experiencing a Cambrian explosion moment now, and an exponential growth both in quantity and quantity. During this presentation, Dada! Animation particularly emphasized the relevance of these AIs for audiovisual professionals, and its impacts in the animation, special effects and film industries. The studio also shared its own experience through case studies, including the production of the animated documentary for Arte and Seppia Interactive, They Were Millions.
